- ABOUT US - Joytec is a Japanese jewelry store specialized in Myanmar jade. We import jade from Myanmar directly and design beautiful accessory in Japanese factory. Since 1996, we have been supporting various activities in Myanmar and also had good relationship with local people. Thus, we have succeed in establishing certain supply sources. That is why we can supply "Non-dyed" "High quality" "Guaranteed" jade at reasonable price. We had opened our webshop in Rakuten-Ichiba in 1999, and now we are one of the most oldest webshop in there. We also have a flagship shop in Minatomirai, Yokohama, Japan. We participate in jewelry exhibitions of Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok several times in a year. We publish the latest information about it on our website as soon as it comes in.
- How to Purchase - All products are exemptions from taxation only when you live outside Japan. If you are interested in our products, please contact below. - About Certification - Our products are all natural(A-grade), but if you need, we can get certification. We certificate our products in Central Gem Laboratory which is the most trusted certification company in Japan. You can get the certification gratis when you buy the product which is more than 50,000 JPY (without tax). In addition, even if the product is not more than 50,000 JPY, you can take the certification with an additional charge of 6000 JPY. If you need a certification, please let us know.

- About Jade - While there are two kinds of jade "Nephrite" and "Jadeite", "Jadeite" is more valuable. In China, Jadeite is considered as the most valuable stone. People believed that having two jadeites in life would bring good fortune. There is a misunderstanding in the world that "Jade is produced in China", however the fact is that jadeite is produced only in a limited area of Myanmar, Japan, Russia and Guatemala. The highest quality jadeite is only produced in Myanmar, most especially in Bagan (Pagan) area. Jadeite is a pyroxene mineral with composition NaAlSi2O6. It is monoclinic. Needle-formed small crystal fibers are put together closely. That's why jadeite has high tenacity, therefore experienced skills to polish and sculpture jadeite are required of craftman. Jadeite has unique resinous luster. The beautiful green color is thought to derive from chrome, however, there is a still not clear part. The highest quality Jadeite has high degree of translucency, glassy texture, without spotting or veins, and deep green color that looks even to human eyes. Some jadeites have violet color called "Lavender jade", which is very popular however bright deep color one is very rare. High quality red, bule, yellow color Jadeites are also very rare. ・Refractive index : 1.65~1.66 ・Density : 3.33~3.34 (extremely durable) ・Hardness : 6.5~7.0 ・Color : green, orange, yellow, bule, black, violet, white and blended of these colors.
